Indian Powerlifter Wins WPC Gold

Arunachal's Akbari Khatoon won gold in the 56kg category at WPC Nationals with a squat of 110kg, bench press of 42.5kg, and deadlift of 117.5kg. Chief Minister Pema Khandu congratulated her achievement, which earned her an international competition opportunity. Another lifter set a personal record with a 253lbs/115kg bench press, marking 11.5kg over the national record.
