Amazon Web Services is holding its Bengaluru summit on April 22 and 23 at the KTPO Exhibition Center in Whitefield, with cloud computing and agentic artificial intelligence at the center of the program. (aws.amazon.com) AWS says the event spans more than 150 sessions split between an Innovators Edition on April 22 and a Technical Edition on April 23. The company describes the summit as a free in-person conference, though registrations for the Bengaluru event are now closed. (aws.amazon.com 1) (aws.amazon.com 2) The Innovators track is aimed at business leaders and decision-makers, with keynotes listing executives from Wipro, Swiggy and AWS, including AWS India and South Asia president Sandeep Dutta. AWS says that day focuses on secure artificial intelligence deployments, digital transformation and customer case studies. (aws.amazon.com) The Technical track is aimed at developers, architects and other builders. AWS says the April 23 agenda includes hands-on labs, live coding, and sessions on products such as Amazon Nova and Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, alongside more than 50 demos in the AWS Village expo area. (aws.amazon.com) Agentic AI is AWS’s term for software agents that can pursue goals and take multi-step actions with less human prompting than a basic chatbot. AWS has been pushing that theme across its India events this year, including a January AI Conclave in Bengaluru focused on “Agentic AI & Data.” (aws.amazon.com 1) (aws.amazon.com 2) The Bengaluru summit also sits inside a wider AWS events push that ties cloud infrastructure to artificial intelligence workloads. AWS’s global summit pages describe these conferences as free in-person gatherings for builders and innovators, while AWS is also steering overflow interest to a separate India Online summit on June 3 with 50-plus virtual sessions. (aws.amazon.com) (aws.amazon.com) (aws.amazon.com) On the ground, AWS is pairing the session program with an expo hall for demos, expert consultations and partner booths. The summit sponsor page lists companies including Grafana Labs, Ingram Micro India, Qualys, TiDB and YugabyteDB. (aws.amazon.com) (aws.amazon.com) For attendees who missed the in-person registration window, AWS says Bengaluru sessions can still be viewed virtually by registering for AWS Summit India Online. That keeps the summit’s main pitch intact: cloud training, product demos and AI workshops, even after the Whitefield doors close. (aws.amazon.com)
