Kelso pitcher shines against local opponents

Kelso senior Kylie Killett has piled up strikeouts against Southwest Washington opponents, including a 14-strikeout shutout against Inglemoor and a 10-strikeout no-hitter against Mountain View. (maxpreps.com) On April 16, Killett threw a no-hitter in a 17-0 win over Mountain View, striking out 10 and issuing one walk before Hailey Chapin worked the final inning. (maxpreps.com) The local matchups have not all gone Kelso’s way. The Hilanders lost 4-3 in eight innings at Skyview on March 19 and fell 9-5 at home to Camas on April 2.
