Teyana Taylor Jordan 3 Drops Tomorrow

Sneakerheads are hyped for the Teyana Taylor x Air Jordan 3 "Concrete Rose," set to drop March 7. Detailed images have surfaced, and the collab is generating major buzz for its unique design cues and bold colorway. The release represents a major moment for the intersection of hip-hop culture and sneaker design.

This release is the second collaboration between Teyana Taylor and Jordan Brand, following the 2023 Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT 2 "A Rose From Harlem." That initial partnership set the stage for the "Concrete Rose" narrative, drawing from Taylor's personal story of overcoming adversity. The "Concrete Rose" theme is a direct reference to Tupac Shakur's poem, "The Rose That Grew From Concrete," a metaphor for resilience that Taylor also explored in her 2018 song, "Rose In Harlem." The design embodies this concept with a rough, concrete-textured midsole contrasting against a premium forest green suede upper. Distinctive details elevate this Air Jordan 3 beyond a typical release. It features metallic gold accents, a gold rose hangtag, and "TEY" branding on the tongue. The shoe also includes unique red and green striped tongue tabs, adding a touch of luxury fashion influence. This collaboration cements Taylor's long-standing influence in sneaker culture, which dates back to her 2013 partnership with Adidas for the Harlem GLC. Over the years, she has also released collaborations with Reebok, demonstrating her consistent creative vision in the footwear world. The sneaker was officially unveiled during NBA All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles at a special "No Thorns, No Rose" event, which provided a deeper narrative context for the design. This women's exclusive release is priced at $280.
