BIGHIT teases GREENGREEN

BIGHIT MUSIC posted album portrait teasers for a project called GREENGREEN featuring members tagged as #MARTIN and #JAMES (CORTIS), and each teaser post pulled roughly 17–18K likes with 200K-plus views. (Those engagement numbers show the teasers are getting serious early attention ahead of whatever the full release will be.) (x.com) (x.com)

BIGHIT MUSIC has moved CORTIS from debut mode into comeback mode fast: the label’s Weverse notice says the group’s lead single arrives on April 20, 2026, and the full second extended play record, GREENGREEN, follows on May 4, 2026. That turns the new teaser portraits into something more specific than mood photos. They are part of a rollout for CORTIS’s second extended play record, not a first introduction to the group. CORTIS is BIGHIT MUSIC’s first boy band in 6 years, and the official profile lists five members: MARTIN, JAMES, JUHOON, SEONGHYEON, and KEONHO. The same profile says all five members are teenagers and are presented as co-creators across songwriting, choreography, and video. The reason MARTIN and JAMES stand out in these first GREENGREEN teasers is that BIGHIT appears to be opening this campaign member by member. A staggered rollout like that gives each face its own day in the spotlight before the group image arrives. GREENGREEN is not being framed as a total reset. In the pre-order notice, BIGHIT says the record “brings together everything CORTIS stand for” and says the album has six tracks that capture who the group is “today.” That wording connects directly back to the group’s debut project. BIGHIT’s page for COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES says the first extended play record came after the members wrote more than 300 songs over two years and narrowed that work down to five tracks. The packaging also shows BIGHIT is treating this as a full-scale comeback, not a digital-only drop. Weverse Shop lists multiple GREENGREEN editions, including STUDIO, STREET, BRIDGE, a Weverse Albums version, a Dice version, and a vinyl release. There is also a live event already attached to the album. Weverse says CORTIS will hold a GREENGREEN release party at SFACTORY D in Seoul on May 4, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. Korea Standard Time, just two hours after the album release time listed in the notice. BIGHIT has split the comeback into two checkpoints instead of one. A separate Weverse notice says there will be one release party for the April 20 lead single REDRED and another for the May 4 extended play record GREENGREEN. So the teaser portraits are the front edge of a month-long campaign with a fixed calendar: lead single on April 20, full six-track extended play record on May 4, and in-person events built around both dates. For a group that debuted less than a year ago, BIGHIT is already pushing CORTIS with the kind of layered rollout usually reserved for acts it expects people to follow closely.
