Integrity Deploys Microsoft AI for Entire Workforce
Insurance distributor Integrity is giving its entire workforce a personal AI assistant through Microsoft 365 Copilot. The company said the move is designed to boost productivity and service speed, making it one of the first large-scale corporate deployments of personalized AI tools for every employee.
The deployment of Microsoft 365 Copilot at Integrity extends to its entire workforce, which numbers between 5,500 and 6,000 employees. This move is part of a broader trend in the insurance industry, where 70% of companies are integrating AI into their core strategies. The aim is to enhance productivity and streamline the processes for the company's nearly 130,000 independent agents. The investment in AI by the insurance sector is projected to hit $11 billion by 2025. For Integrity, this rollout is a significant step in its ongoing digital transformation. The company has a history of growth through acquisition, having acquired 80 companies, including notable purchases of Annexus and Gladstone Wealth Partners. These acquisitions have expanded its footprint and brought its total assets under management and advisement to approximately $40 billion. Microsoft 365 Copilot integrates with the company's existing Microsoft 365 applications, providing AI-powered assistance in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams. The tool is designed to help with tasks like summarizing documents, drafting emails, and analyzing data. The cost for this enterprise-level AI assistant is $30 per user per month. The adoption of AI assistants in the insurance industry has shown tangible results. For instance, some insurers have reported a 30% increase in productivity among employees equipped with AI tools. In claims processing, AI has been shown to reduce turnaround times significantly. This move by Integrity aligns with the industry's direction towards leveraging AI for greater efficiency and improved service.
