Nike's New Air Liquid Max
Nike just unveiled the futuristic Air Liquid Max sneaker, inspired by the poison dart frog Nike Just Officially Revealed Its Futuristic New Air Liquid Max Sneaker.
The Air Liquid Max will be released on March 26, also known as Air Max Day, for $230. It will be available through the Nike SNKRS app and at select retailers. Nike's engineers created "point-loaded Air," a foot-mapped unit that provides cushioning only where needed, reducing weight and material. This design results in a sole with a fragmented, almost sculptural geometry. The shoe's design is directly inspired by the poison dart frog, specifically its toe pads. The upper features a three-layer textured nanoprint mesh, with a colorway that reflects the frog's vibrant colors used as a warning system. A Fragment Design collaboration is also in the works, featuring an all-black colorway and a price of $225. The Fragment Design version may be released in Spring 2026.
