Dicey's Pizza Relocates to Lincoln Park
As part of a North Side restaurant shuffle, Dicey's Pizza is moving from Logan Square to Lincoln Park. Meanwhile, Italian spot Strapoli is expanding its operations in the area.
Dicey's Pizza is relocating to 2435 N. Halsted St. in Lincoln Park, taking over a space formerly occupied by a variety of restaurants. Its previous location at 2109 W. Chicago Ave. in West Town, which it opened in October 2024, is now available for lease as a fully built-out restaurant and bar space. The West Town spot had previously been a Parson's Chicken & Fish, which is owned by the same hospitality group as Dicey's. The move marks a quick location change for the tavern-style pizzeria, which had been in its West Town home for just over a year before announcing the relocation in late 2025. The concept is from Chicago-based hospitality group Land and Sea Dept., which also operates Parson's, Longman & Eagle, and Lonesome Rose. The group first launched the Dicey's brand in Nashville. Meanwhile, Strapoli is expanding from its first location at 545 W. Diversey Parkway in Lincoln Park to a new spot in Roscoe Village. The family-run pizzeria is opening its second location at 2054 W. Roscoe St., next to the Maison Pasquale gourmet grocery store. Owned by Marcial Bereciartu, Strapoli serves Neapolitan-style pizza inspired by his family's four decades of experience running pizzerias in Merida, Venezuela. The Lincoln Park location, which opened in late 2023, has become known for pies like the "Pistachina" with pistachio pesto and the "Sweet Bacon" with hot honey. While a liquor license was filed for the Roscoe Village expansion, a firm opening date has not yet been announced.
