Casepoint Hires New Product Chief
Legal tech company Casepoint has appointed Pete Feinberg as its new Chief Product Officer. Feinberg, a veteran with over 20 years in enterprise SaaS and AI product leadership, will be responsible for advancing the company's AI-powered legal and compliance platform.
Feinberg's appointment comes at a pivotal moment for Casepoint, following its recent merger with government process management software provider OPEXUS and a majority investment from private equity firm Thoma Bravo. This strategic consolidation aims to create a comprehensive platform for both government and commercial clients, with a focus on expanding its footprint in the GovTech market. With over 13 years of experience in legal technology, Feinberg has a proven history of developing and launching AI-assisted workflows for enterprise and government agencies. His expertise in environments where security and auditability are paramount aligns with Casepoint's high-level security credentials, including Department of Defense Impact Level 5 and 6 certifications. Casepoint has secured significant government contracts, including a five-year deal with the U.S. Air Force Judge Advocate General Corps and a five-year contract extension with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The SEC alone is projected to store 800 terabytes of electronic data on the platform, involving 4,200 users across its headquarters and 11 regional offices. The company's AI-powered platform, CaseAssist, is central to its offerings, providing advanced analytics and machine learning to automate and improve the efficiency of legal discovery. This technology is designed to help legal teams identify relevant documents and reduce review costs, addressing the growing challenge of managing vast volumes of data.
