Nike x Jacquemus Collab
The Nike x Jacquemus Moon Shoe campaign is making waves, with Solange Knowles starring in the ads Solange Knowles Lends Her Quiet Cool to the New Jacquemus and Nike Campaign.
The Moon Shoe, originally handmade by Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman for the 1972 U.S. Olympic Track & Field Trials, gets a modern makeover. This collaboration marks the first time the Moon Shoe has been reinterpreted. The new Moon Shoe, a blend of Nike's running heritage and Jacquemus' minimalist aesthetic, comes in Chocolate Brown, Sail, and a pale pink that reflects Jacquemus' brand DNA. The design incorporates a ruched nylon upper, a Nike Grind outsole, and a ballet-inspired silhouette. Jacquemus discovered the Moon Shoe in the Nike archives and saw an opportunity to create a new story with his own aesthetic. He describes the pale pink as a "sensual and naïve color that brings softness and intimacy to the silhouette". The initial launch occurred on March 9, 2026, via Jacquemus' website and boutiques. A wider global release of the Chocolate Brown and Sail editions is scheduled for March 16 via the Nike SNKRS app and select retailers. Some pairs are already being resold for eight times the original price of €180. This highlights the speculative nature of the sneaker aftermarket.
