The Anthropologie x Nest Fellowship is a six-month program designed to bolster emerging creative entrepreneurs in the United States. Selected participants receive professional development, tailored mentorship from Anthropologie executives, and financial grants to support their business growth. This initiative provides a significant platform for exposure, offering fellows the chance to feature their products in Anthropologie's stores and on its online marketplace. The program prioritizes women creating handmade, small-batch goods in categories such as apparel, accessories, jewelry, and home decor. For the 2025 inaugural program, five makers were selected. The fellowship is a collaboration with Nest, a non-profit organization focused on empowering artisans and makers globally. Nest works to create economic opportunities and preserve cultural traditions in the handcraft industry. Anthropologie has committed to an annual donation of $100,000 to support Nest's mission, in addition to this fellowship. This fellowship is part of Anthropologie's broader commitment to social impact, which includes supporting arts education and women's empowerment. The company has previously partnered with organizations like YoungArts, awarding grants to young artists and providing them with mentorship and a platform to showcase their work. The partnership with Nest has been ongoing, with previous collaborations including in-store pop-ups and events celebrating women makers.
