Michelin’s California radar
The Michelin Guide added 12 new “discoveries” across California today — five in the Bay Area and six in Los Angeles — marking those spots as front-runners for stars or Bib Gourmand status at the official June ceremony (shows where the shortlist is heating up). ( )
Los Angeles additions named on Michelin’s site are Corridor 109, Firstborn, Lapaba, Little Fish Melrose Hill, Lugya’h, and Zira Uzbek Kitchen. (guide.michelin.com) Corridor 109 is described by Michelin as an intimate, 11-seat counter focused on fish largely sourced from Japan. (guide.michelin.com) Little Fish Melrose Hill expanded from Echo Park and lists chefs Anna Sonenshein and Niki Vahle as its operators on the new Melrose Avenue sit-down location. (nbclosangeles.com) San Francisco and the Peninsula picked up the Bay Area inclusions Dingles Public House, La Cigale, Naides, Wolfsbane, and Yeobo, Darling in Michelin’s March update. (sfgate.com) Dingles Public House, open about four months in Hayes Valley and run by Anissa and George Dingles, was cited for its refined British pub fare, while Wolfsbane — led by Rupert and Carrie Blease with partner Tommy Halverson — was praised for a tasting-menu format featuring Dungeness crab. (sfgate.com) Yeobo, Darling is the Menlo Park project from chef-couple Meichih and Michael Kim, the team behind the former Michelin-starred Maum, and Michelin lists the restaurant on its Menlo Park pages. (guide.michelin.com) Little Mountain in Montecito is listed on the Michelin site as a rustic, locally focused restaurant led by Chilean-born chef Diego Moya and located on San Ysidro Road. (guide.michelin.com) Michelin’s spring “new additions” updates typically precede the guide’s annual star- and Bib Gourmand–reveal ceremony in June, and outlets covering the March rollout note Michelin had not yet announced the 2026 ceremony dates.
