Maino drops 50 Cent diss track
Maino has released a new diss track, “Bleed Like Us,” in response to 50 Cent, fueling ongoing beef in the genre Maino Responds To 50 Cent With Diss Track “Bleed Like Us”. Is this beef just for show?
Maino's "Bleed Like Us" is a direct response to 50 Cent's "No More Tricks, No More Tries," which featured Max B and targeted Maino, Jim Jones, Fabolous, and Dave East. The track sees Maino questioning 50 Cent's street credibility and referencing past domestic violence allegations. Maino raps, "Picture me being scared of a n*a that never shot nothing or killed st". The beef reportedly started after Jim Jones called 50 Cent's Diddy docuseries a "mockumentary" on the *Let's Rap About It* podcast. 50 Cent then accused the podcast crew of owing back rent for their studio, even posting alleged audio and security footage related to the situation. Maino initially responded to 50 Cent's "No More Tricks, No More Tries" with an Instagram post, writing, "@50cent Goddamn! You Made Us Wait 4 Months For This? Lmaooooo Let The Games Begin Pu$$y!!". In "Bleed Like Us," Maino also accuses 50 Cent of exaggerating his past shooting incident, rapping "Shot nine times, you capped about it". He further claims 50 Cent relies on "lies and strong marketing" and is always beefing with Black men. As of today, 50 Cent has not publicly responded to "Bleed Like Us".
