Insurance Industry Conferences Convene

Several major insurance and financial conferences are taking place in late February. The 2026 Distribution and Marketing Conference will focus on tech-enabled strategies, while the Advanced Trustees and Administrators Institute for benefits professionals is running from February 23-25 in Orlando. During the same period, ePayConnect 2026 is gathering payments professionals in National Harbor.

- The LOMA Distribution and Marketing Conference will feature speakers such as Tiffani Bova, a former growth evangelist at Salesforce, and Jonathan Brill, a business futurist and AI inventor. Sessions will cover topics like using AI to transform distribution and marketing, building consumer trust in the age of AI, and data-driven marketing strategies presented by TransUnion. - Attendees of the LOMA conference typically include heads of distribution, sales, marketing, recruiting, compensation, distribution finance, training, and product development. A specific session is also held for senior-level marketing and distribution executives from small-to-midsize life insurance companies and fraternals. - The Advanced Trustees and Administrators Institute, organized by the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP), is designed for experienced multiemployer trustees and administrators. The IFEBP has over 31,000 members, including multiemployer trustees, corporate benefits professionals, and public employee plan representatives. - Sessions at the Advanced Trustees and Administrators Institute will address the use of AI in administration, including compliance issues and cybersecurity concerns, as well as discussions on the economic outlook and its impact on pension and health and welfare assets. - For the first time in its 30-year history, ePayConnect is being held outside of Florida. The conference agenda includes tracks on Operations & Compliance, Fraud & Risk, Product & Treasury, and Innovation & Technology. - ePayConnect will feature workshops and sessions on the implementation of instant payment systems like FedNow and RTPĀ®, the role of AI in payments, and strategies for managing digital assets and stablecoins. - The ACH Network, a key topic in the payments industry, processed 35.2 billion payments in 2025, with B2B payments showing significant growth. - Following ePayConnect, the Faster Payments Council will hold its Spring Member Meeting at the same venue, with sessions focused on the functional differences between FedNow and RTP and the transformation of B2B payments through instant payment capabilities.
