CrowdStrike & Perplexity partner on AI security
CrowdStrike teamed up with Perplexity to integrate Falcon into Perplexity’s Comet Enterprise AI browser, addressing rising AI-enabled cyberattacks.
The Falcon platform will be available via opt-in, enhancing detection, governance, and data protection within Comet Enterprise. This includes stopping web threats, controlling data movement, and providing visibility and response on unmanaged devices. According to CrowdStrike's 2026 Global Threat Report, AI-enabled cyberattacks increased by 89% year-over-year. Securing AI-driven interfaces is crucial to prevent data exposure and protect against adversaries exploiting trusted AI workflows. This partnership builds upon CrowdStrike's acquisition of Seraphic, bolstering the Falcon platform's browser-layer runtime protection. Comet Enterprise AI interactions will gain real-time data protection through the Falcon platform, offering visibility into sensitive information and enforcing integrated policy controls. The integration applies enterprise security policies within AI workflows to prevent unauthorized data sharing and protect proprietary content without disrupting productivity. Embedding Falcon directly into an AI-native browser allows for richer signal collection and differentiated protection for web and AI traffic.
