Cross-Platform Game 'NTE' Sets April Launch Date

The upcoming game 'NTE: Neverness to Everness' announced it will launch on April 29, 2026. The game will feature full cross-platform support, allowing users to play together across PC, Mac, Android, iOS, and PS5. Pre-registration milestones are being offered to build hype ahead of the release.

The game is developed by Hotta Studio, a subsidiary of Perfect World, known for the gacha title 'Tower of Fantasy'. That game's troubled launch and subsequent decline in player base have set high expectations for 'NTE' to deliver a more polished experience from day one. 'NTE' is built on Unreal Engine 5, utilizing its Nanite virtualized geometry technology to enhance scene realism within the urban metropolis of Hethereau. The engine's framework is key to its multi-platform development, though the studio has acknowledged that optimizing the experience for mobile is a significant challenge they are actively working on. For iOS and macOS, the minimum spec for the beta was an iPhone 12 Pro Max with iOS 15, while an iPhone 14 Pro was recommended. On the Android side, Hotta Studio has collaborated with MediaTek to integrate their Dimensity Frame Rate Converter (MFRC) technology, aiming to improve frame rates and reduce power consumption in high-load scenarios. The game will be free-to-play and employs a gacha monetization model. Pre-registration milestones, which have already surpassed 20 million sign-ups, offer in-game currency, materials, and a free character named Haniel to drive player acquisition ahead of the launch.
