Guns N' Roses Australia Tour Announced

Rock legends Guns N' Roses announced stadium tour dates for 2026 in Australia and New Zealand. The tour is expected to feature classic hits and possibly new material, continuing their global presence. This marks another major international run for the band's current lineup.

This tour follows the band's wildly successful "Not In This Lifetime..." tour in 2017, which sold over 350,000 tickets across Australia and New Zealand. That run included becoming the first international act to sell out the 74,000-capacity Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) and grossed over $38 million USD for its Australasian leg alone. The tour features the reunited core of frontman Axl Rose, guitarist Slash, and bassist Duff McKagan, who officially regrouped in 2016. Before that reunion, the trio had not toured Australia together since the infamous "Use Your Illusion" tour back in 1993. Fans may hear new material alongside the classics. Since reuniting, the band has released a series of singles, including "Absurd," "Hard Skool," and 2023's "Perhaps" and "The General." Two more new songs, the rock anthem "Atlas" and the piano-driven "Nothin'," were released in December 2025. These newer tracks originate from the sessions for the 2008 album *Chinese Democracy* but have been reworked and recorded with the current lineup. Guitarist Slash has suggested a full new album may eventually materialize, but that the band's creative process is spontaneous. The 2026 tour will kick off on November 29 at the bp Adelaide Grand Final. It will then travel to Townsville's Queensland Country Bank Stadium, Brisbane's Suncorp Stadium, and McDonald Jones Stadium in Newcastle. The Australian leg concludes with shows at Melbourne's Marvel Stadium and Sydney's ENGIE Stadium. The tour then wraps up with a single New Zealand show at Eden Park Stadium in Auckland on December 17. Joining Guns N' Roses for all seven dates will be Australian hard rock band Airbourne.
