Bloober Team says it now has seven horror games in active development as the Polish studio expands beyond one-project-at-a-time production. (gamesindustry.biz) GamesIndustry.biz reported on April 14 that Bloober is moving to a multi-project structure with two first-party single-player horror games and five more titles in co-development. Eurogamer, citing that report, said five of the seven projects are collaborations. (gamesindustry.biz) (eurogamer.net) The studio also named three executives: Thaine Lyman as head of studio, Katya Baukova as director of business development, and Michał Gembicki as head of publishing. Eurogamer identified Lyman as a veteran of Activision and Wargaming, Baukova as having worked at Techland and CD Projekt, and Gembicki as coming from Klabater and CD Projekt. (eurogamer.net) Chief executive Piotr Babieno said Bloober will keep two first-party production teams focused on its biggest releases. He told GamesIndustry.biz the shift is meant to reduce the risk of depending on a single game in a volatile market. (gamesindustry.biz) (eurogamer.net) That marks a sharper specialization for a company that describes itself as a maker of psychological horror games. Bloober’s investor-relations site says the Kraków studio was founded in 2008 and is focused on horror, while its corporate site lists series including Layers of Fear, The Medium, Blair Witch and Observer. (ir.blooberteam.com) (blooberteam.com) The bigger pipeline follows a run of higher-profile releases and partnerships. Bloober’s site says Cronos: The New Dawn launched on September 5, 2025, and the company’s February 25, 2025 investor-relations post said it had signed a new Konami project after the success of the Silent Hill 2 remake. (blooberteam.com) (ir.blooberteam.com) Some of the seven projects are already public. Bloober’s investor-relations site said on February 16, 2026 that the company had announced Layers of Fear 3, and Eurogamer said a Nintendo-exclusive title in that series is expected this year. (ir.blooberteam.com) (eurogamer.net) The company has also been signaling this expansion to investors on a fixed timetable. Its investor calendar lists an annual 2025 report due April 21, 2026, days after the April 15 leadership announcement highlighted what it called the most important period in the company’s history. (ir.blooberteam.com 1) (ir.blooberteam.com 2) For players, the immediate takeaway is simple: Bloober is trying to turn a horror label built on a few signature games into a studio with seven shots on goal at once. The next concrete test comes when those teased projects start getting names, platforms and release dates. (gamesindustry.biz) (ir.blooberteam.com)
