TECNO to Unveil AI-Focused Phones at MWC

This marks TECNO's continued focus on artificial intelligence, building on their "Create the AI Future" theme from MWC 2025. Last year, the company debuted its CAMON 40 series with a significant emphasis on practical AI applications for users in emerging markets. The upcoming CAMON 50 series will integrate flagship Sony hardware with a dedicated AI computing architecture. New features will include "Super-Zoom FlashSnap" for high-speed captures without shutter lag and "AI Auto Zoom" to intelligently frame subjects. Beyond the camera, the new series is positioned as a "Creative AI Hub." This includes an AI Art Gallery for transforming photos and productivity tools like One-Tap FlashMemo, all integrated with TECNO's AI assistant, Ella. This year's MWC will also see the official announcement of a strategic partnership between TECNO and Tonino Lamborghini. The collaboration will feature co-created devices, including a special edition of the POVA smartphone and a gaming mini-PC. The broader TECNO AI ecosystem on display will include updated MEGABOOK laptops, AI-enhanced smart wearables, and the OneLeap smart interconnection solution for seamless cross-device experiences. This follows last year's showcase which included AI Glasses Pro and the MEGABOOK S14 laptop. TECNO's push into AI imaging places it in a competitive field with brands like Samsung, Google, and Xiaomi, all of which are leveraging AI for features like scene optimization, advanced photo editing, and improved zoom capabilities. The company has also been developing concept devices, having previously shown an ultra-thin tri-fold smartphone and a modular phone concept that uses magnetic attachments to expand hardware capabilities for AI computing and other functions.
