Actabl Launches Digital Guest Itineraries
Hospitality tech firm Actabl has introduced digital itineraries to replace static PDF guides for guests. The interactive, real-time platform allows for more agile service and could enable tighter coordination between guest requests and on-property inventory delivery.
Actabl's digital itinerary tool is an extension of its ALICE platform, a hotel operations management system. The ALICE product line also includes solutions for housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services, which recently won a 2026 HotelTechAward for Best Concierge Software. Actabl was formed in 2022 through the unification of ALICE with three other hospitality software providers: ProfitSword (business intelligence), Hotel Effectiveness (labor management), and Transcendent (asset management). The broader digital concierge market is projected to grow from $1.2 billion in 2026 to $2.0 billion by 2036. This growth is driven by hotels seeking to standardize service workflows and manage a high volume of guest requests efficiently. Hospitality currently represents about 45% of the total digital concierge market demand. For multi-property resort chains in the Caribbean, a key challenge is managing inventory and operations across different islands and regulatory environments. This reliance on imports and exposure to logistical bottlenecks makes centralized inventory tracking and multi-property visibility crucial for cost control. Integrated platforms that connect operations with inventory and procurement can help reduce waste and streamline maintenance workflows. The Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Association (CHTA) is actively encouraging technology adoption to sustain market growth and improve operational efficiency. A recent CHTA survey showed that about one-third of Caribbean tourism operators have adopted AI, with another 30% considering it. To support this, the CHTA has released an "Artificial Intelligence Transformation Guide" to provide best practices tailored to the region.
