Guangdong, China, is showcasing world-class acts like Imagine Dragons' LOOM World Tour in Guangzhou, Peaky Blinders dance-theater, and Deep in Memory (international dance-theater).
Imagine Dragons' LOOM World Tour includes eight shows across three Chinese cities: Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Chengdu. The Guangzhou performances are scheduled for March 20, 22, and 25 at the Guangdong Olympic Sports Center Stadium. This tour marks the band's return to China and is produced by YYC Culture. Rambert's "Peaky Blinders: The Redemption of Thomas Shelby" is touring mainland China in Spring 2026, coinciding with the dance company's 100th anniversary. The show, adapted by Steven Knight from the hit TV series, blends dance, theatre, and live music. It delves into Tommy Shelby's story through choreography, exploring themes of trauma, love, and redemption. "Deep in Memory," directed by Tong Ruirui, commemorates the 80th anniversary of the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression. The dance drama portrays the Nanjing Massacre through the eyes of writer Iris Chang and historical figures like John Rabe and Minnie Vautrin. It premiered in Beijing and has toured internationally, including a run in Paris in 2025.
