Bieber set ran overtime

Justin Bieber’s second Coachella weekend set ran past the city’s 1 a.m. cutoff, leaving festival promoter Goldenvoice with a $20,000 fine. Billboard also reported the total at $44,000 and said the fines were confirmed by the city of Indio. Multiple reports said the city’s rule sets a 1 a.m. end time for Friday and Saturday performances and a midnight end time on Sunday. NBC Los Angeles reported that Billie Eilish joined him during “One Less Lonely Girl” before the set closed two minutes late.
