LER TechForce Acquires Siemens Division
Indiana-based LER TechForce has completed its acquisition of the Resource Solution division from Siemens Altair. The company stated the move will strengthen its workforce and engineering services offerings.
LER TechForce's acquisition of the Siemens Altair Resource Solution division is a strategic move for the Columbus, Indiana-based company, which has a history of providing specialized engineering talent. The company was established in 2020 as a spinoff of LHP Inc., and has since grown to over 350 engineers. The woman-owned firm has carved out a niche in providing engineering services for industries that rely on embedded software, such as the automotive and medical device sectors. LER TechForce's expertise also extends to aerospace, autonomous and connected technologies, and industrial automation. This acquisition is expected to enhance these offerings by integrating the specialized personnel and existing customer contracts from the Siemens Altair division. Under the leadership of CEO Janene Stotts, LER TechForce has been focused on expanding its footprint in North America. Prior to this acquisition, the company had already expanded its operations into Canada and Mexico, aiming to provide a competitively priced alternative to offshoring for its North American clients. The addition of the Resource Solution division is intended to strengthen LER TechForce's capacity to deliver comprehensive workforce solutions. The company's stated goal is to more deeply integrate human capital with technology to address complex engineering challenges for its clients. This move is seen as a significant step in the company's long-term growth strategy.
