Apple has launched Apple Business, a new platform that folds device management, work email, and customer-facing tools into one service. (apple.com) Apple announced the product on March 24, 2026, and said it would go live on Tuesday, April 14, in more than 200 countries and regions. Susan Prescott, Apple’s vice president of Enterprise and Education Marketing, said the company had unified its business offerings into “one simple, secure platform.” (apple.com) The service combines tools that had been split across Apple Business Manager, Apple Business Essentials, and Apple Business Connect. Apple’s support guide says it works across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Apple Television, and Apple Vision Pro. (support.apple.com) For information technology teams, the core feature is built-in mobile device management, which lets a company set settings, security rules, and apps from one dashboard. Apple said its new “Blueprints” can preconfigure devices for zero-touch deployment, so employees can start using new hardware out of the box. (apple.com) Apple also added business email, calendar, and directory services tied to a company’s own domain name. The employee app lets workers install work apps, look up colleague contact details, and request support from iPhone, iPad, Mac, and now Apple Vision Pro. (apple.com; 9to5mac.com) On the customer side, Apple is tying the platform to Maps, Siri, Mail, Wallet, and other Apple services. Apple said a new option coming this summer will let businesses in the United States and Canada place local ads in Maps during search and discovery. (apple.com) Apple says the base service is free to start, with built-in device management, Apple Maps place-card customization, and 5 gigabytes of iCloud storage included. Companies can pay for more storage or add AppleCare+ for Business for support and repairs. (business.apple.com) The launch also changes Apple’s business software lineup. Apple’s support documentation says Apple Business Essentials is now Apple Business, while Apple Business Manager is described on Apple’s site as “the new home for business features.” (support.apple.com; business.apple.com) Apple is pitching the service to companies ranging from solo operators to large enterprises, including businesses that do not use Apple devices but want to manage their presence on Apple Maps. The immediate test is whether companies that already use Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or third-party device-management software move more of that work into Apple’s own system.
