Nigel Sylvester's Jordan 4 Confirmed

Pro BMX rider Nigel Sylvester’s highly anticipated Air Jordan 4 “Brick After Brick” is now officially confirmed for a 2026 release. While an exact drop date is still pending, the confirmation has renewed hype for the collaboration, which is expected to continue Sylvester's signature storytelling through design.

This release is the next chapter in a series, following the 2025 "Brick by Brick" Air Jordan 4. Where the first shoe symbolized the grind of building a foundation, "Brick After Brick" shifts the narrative to the consistency required to sustain success. The design features a premium "Sail" leather upper with "Cinnabar" red accents, referencing the iconic 1989 "Fire Red" colorway. Unique details include a mini embroidered Swoosh on the forefoot and a custom "Bike Air" logo on the heel tab, replacing the traditional Nike Air branding. Sylvester, the first BMX athlete signed to Jordan Brand, is known for infusing his life into his shoes. His 2018 Air Jordan 1 collaboration came pre-distressed, mimicking the wear-and-tear from using his sneakers as brakes on his brakeless bike. The collaboration builds on the legacy of the Air Jordan 4, a silhouette designed by Tinker Hatfield that debuted in 1989. The shoe was the first in the Jordan line to be released globally and was immortalized in Spike Lee's film "Do The Right Thing" and by Michael Jordan's legendary playoff-winning basket known as "The Shot." Hype for the sneaker intensified significantly when Michael Jordan himself was photographed wearing the "Brick After Brick" colorway months before the official announcement. The Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 4 "Brick After Brick" is expected to be released in the summer of 2026, with a rumored retail price of $225.
