Indiana Expands EV Charging Network
TurnOnGreen and TESCO are partnering to deploy high-power DC fast charging systems across Indiana, leveraging the Battery Innovation Center to support EV adoption throughout the Midwest.
TurnOnGreen's 240kW DC fast chargers will be installed at three Indiana locations, delivering a total of 10 high-speed charging ports. These locations include JJ's Travel Plaza along US 31, The Beef House Restaurant and Dinner Theatre on the I-74 corridor, and the Battery Innovation Center. Drive Clean Indiana's EV infrastructure programs are supporting this deployment through reimbursement of eligible project costs after installation and commissioning. This approach allows TurnOnGreen and TESCO to expand their DC fast charging footprint while carefully managing capital. The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) is investing nearly $100 million to build an EV charging network at strategic locations along Indiana's interstates and highways. This initiative, called Charging the Crossroads, is funded through the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) program. TurnOnGreen and TESCO previously partnered to expand Level 2 EV charging infrastructure at Purdue University. The Purdue campus now features a mix of TurnOnGreen's EVP700G and EVP1100 chargers.
