Delano Members Club Launches in Miami
The Delano Members Club has opened in Miami Beach as an invitation-only destination for a global clientele. The launch signals a growing trend in hospitality toward member-driven, experience-focused models that blend cultural programming with high-end service. This model emphasizes curated access and community over traditional luxury hotel offerings.
- The new club is part of the Delano Hotel's grand reopening in 2026, following a closure that began in March 2020. The original Art Deco hotel, designed by Robert Swartburg, first opened in 1947 and was a trendsetter in the boutique hotel movement after its 1994 redesign by Philippe Starck. - Membership is highly limited, with initial applications open for a group of just 200 founding members. The club is guided by a committee of figures from art, film, fashion, music, and business to shape its cultural direction. - A key perk for members is exclusive access to the hotel's Mimi Kakushi restaurant, an outpost of a Dubai concept recognized as one of The World's 50 Best Bars. The restaurant is inspired by 1920s Osaka and Oriental Art Deco. The hotel will also feature the first U.S. location of the European restaurant brand Gigi Rigolatto. - The private club is located on the hotel's fourth floor, which is exclusive to members and hotel guests. Amenities include a private pool and a dedicated fitness studio equipped with Technogym's high-end Artis line. - Ben Pundole, formerly of EDITION Hotels and Six Senses, is the Chief Brand Officer for Delano Hotels and is heading the membership program. - The club is operated by Ennismore, a hospitality company known for lifestyle brands like The Hoxton and Gleneagles, which is in a joint venture with Accor. This launch in Miami is the first step in a planned global expansion for Delano Members Clubs. - Member benefits include a complimentary two-night stay at a Delano property, preferred room rates, access to a lifestyle concierge, and reciprocal benefits at other select clubs.
