Harry Styles' Funky Crisis

Harry Styles dropped *Kiss All The Time...*, which critics are calling a "funky existential crisis" that blends introspective themes with his signature pop charisma. The album "lets the light in" according to NME's review. He's supporting it with concert residencies across seven major cities worldwide.

The new album follows his 2022 release, *Harry's House*, a synth-pop and funk-infused record that became the UK's best-selling album of the year and earned him a Grammy for Album of the Year. That album's lead single, "As It Was," topped the Billboard Hot 100 for 15 weeks. For *Kiss All The Time...*, Styles and longtime collaborators Kid Harpoon and Tyler Johnson have explored a new sound influenced by electronic, techno, and house music. Reviews note the album features synthesizers, prominent basslines, and even a gospel choir on several tracks, creating a sound described as playful, bold, and experimental. Instead of a traditional world tour, Styles has opted for a series of residencies for his "Together, Together" tour, playing 50 shows across just seven cities. The tour includes an unprecedented 30-night run at New York's Madison Square Garden and a six-night residency at London's Wembley Stadium. The other host cities for the 2026 residency tour are Amsterdam, São Paulo, Mexico City, Melbourne, and Sydney. Styles has said he prefers this model because it allows for a better, more elaborate show that doesn't have to be broken down and transported every night. A unique lineup of special guests will join him in each city, including Robyn in Amsterdam, Shania Twain in London, Jamie xx in New York, and Jorja Smith in Mexico City. The album's lyrical themes continue to explore romance, introspection, and desire, with some critics noting a sense of vulnerability and curiosity. On the track "Paint By Numbers," Styles seemingly addresses the scrutiny of his personal life and relationships.
