TOXIC SHOCK Returns After 9 Years

Belgian thrash metal/crossover act TOXIC SHOCK teased their third album *Future Is Calling* — 9 years in the making via TCM Records — dropping April 3, 2026. The long-awaited release has generated significant anticipation among thrash metal fans who've been waiting nearly a decade for new material.

Hailing from Antwerp, Belgium, Toxic Shock has been a force in the crossover thrash scene since 2010. Their sound is a potent mix of thrash metal, hardcore punk, and melodic overtones. The band's first full-length album, "Daily Demons," was released in 2013 on Reflections Records. This debut received praise and established their presence in the European metal underground. They have since shared the stage with an impressive roster of influential bands, including Testament, Suicidal Tendencies, D.R.I., and Power Trip. For their second album, "Twentylastcentury," released in 2017, Toxic Shock enlisted a legendary producer. Flemming Rasmussen, renowned for his work on Metallica's classic albums, helmed the production of the record. The album was released by the German label This Charming Man Records. In the years between their full-length albums, the band has remained active. They released a split 7" with the popular crossover band Iron Reagan and even collaborated with the Antwerp-based hip-hop group Team Panini, showcasing their diverse musical interests.
