Hot Toys reveals Disney Pets Cosbaby figures

Hot Toys has begun teasing a new Disney Pets Cosbaby line, according to a June 1 social-media reveal that was later recirculated by collector account FunkoPOPsNews on June 2. The figures shown in the post depict Disney pet characters reworked as pastry-themed collectibles, with animal faces and ears emerging from baked-good designs. Hot Toys had not published a matching product page with release timing or pricing on its official website as of Tuesday. (hottoys.com.hk) The company’s website describes Cosbaby as part of its stylized collectible range. ### Which characters were shown in the tease? The June 1 reveal showed multiple Disney pet-style figures dressed as bakery items, based on the social post cited in the original briefing and recirculated by FunkoPOPsNews on June 2. The images appear to present prototype-stage items rather than final boxed products, with the characters rendered in Hot Toys’ oversized-head Cosbaby style. Hot Toys has used Disney licenses extensively across its Cosbaby and Cosbi ranges, including prior releases tied to Stitch, Mickey and Friends, Disney Cats and other Disney characters. (x.com) That broader catalog makes the Disney Pets line consistent with the company’s existing licensed collectible business, even though the new pastry-themed figures had not yet been listed in the official store pages surfaced in search results. ### Did Hot Toys announce a price or release date? (x.com) No official price or release window was visible on Hot Toys’ main website on June 2 in the material available through search results. The company’s site includes detailed product pages for released or announced Cosbaby and Cosbi items, and those pages typically specify format, size and an estimated release period when listings are live. A Hot Toys product page for an earlier Disney-related Cosbi item, for example, includes measurements, assortment details and an estimated release period, showing the kind of information that was absent for the Disney Pets tease. (hottoys.com.hk) The lack of a comparable listing suggests the baked-goods figures remain in an early promotional phase. That is an inference based on the absence of a published product page, not a statement from Hot Toys. ### What is Cosbaby, and how does this fit the line? (hottoys.com.hk) Hot Toys says on its official site that it produces “adorable collectibles” alongside its higher-end figures, and Cosbaby is one of its long-running stylized formats. The figures generally use a compact, exaggerated design and are often issued as single characters, two-packs or themed sets. The company’s official YouTube channel also identifies itself as the home of Hot Toys’ Cosbaby collectibles and directs fans to the official Cosbaby Instagram account for updates. (hottoys.com.hk) That makes the brand’s social channels one of the most likely places for the next announcement on the Disney Pets figures. ### Why are collectors seeing this through reposts first? FunkoPOPsNews posted the reveal on June 2, one day after the prototype images were dated June 1 in the source briefing. Collector-news accounts often circulate early merchandise teases before manufacturers publish full preorder pages, especially for stylized lines where prototype photography appears first. (hottoys.com.hk) Hot Toys’ searchable official pages on Tuesday did not yet show a Disney Pets Cosbaby listing, even though the company maintains active product pages for other Disney Cosbaby and Cosbi items. (youtube.com) That gap left the social reveal as the only visible public evidence of the new line at the time of writing. ### Where would the next official update appear? Hot Toys’ official website and the company’s Cosbaby social channels are the clearest places to watch for a formal listing. Earlier Hot Toys collectible pages have included estimated release quarters and product specifications once listings go live. (x.com) As of June 2, 2026, the Disney Pets Cosbaby figures remained a social-media tease with prototype imagery, and no official preorder date or price had been published in the Hot Toys materials available online.
