Claude Cowork Introduces Scheduled AI Tasks

AI collaboration environment Claude Cowork has added a feature for scheduled, recurring tasks. Users can write a single prompt and schedule it to run on autopilot for repetitive work. Use cases include generating weekly project status updates for clients, batch-creating social media posts, and automating performance analysis reports.

The new scheduling feature is part of a broader industry trend where AI assistants are becoming operational partners rather than just conversational tools.
