These workshops outside Brent Cross West station on March 22 & 26 aim to gather public input for a new street art piece. Wood Street Walls is a London-based arts organization that empowers local communities and artists in public spaces. They curate walls, coordinate events, and run artist workspaces. The organization also provides free periodic workshops for charities and school children. The workshops contribute to a larger project to celebrate the opening of the Brent Cross West station. Local artist Elisa Cantarelli is creating two artworks to be hung on either side of the station's overbridge. The station's overbridge aims to reconnect the Barnet and Brent communities.
