Nintendo Switch 2: New Mario Title
Super Mario Bros. Wonder is launching a Switch 2 Edition on March 26, with expanded content and crossover surprises, while "Yoshi and the Mysterious Book" arrives May 21.
The Switch 2 edition of *Super Mario Bros. Wonder* will feature a new "Meetup in Bellabel Park" world with both competitive and cooperative multiplayer levels. Rosalina and Luma will also be playable characters. Owners of the original Switch version can upgrade for $19.99, while a new physical or digital version will cost $79.99. *Yoshi and the Mysterious Book* will have players exploring a living encyclopedia, interacting with creatures to solve puzzles. A new trailer showcases a bubble-blowing creature called "Glubbit," which Yoshi can ride. Players can also name the creatures they discover and record their traits in the book. The Nintendo Switch 2 launched on June 5, 2025, for $449.99. It features a 7.9-inch LCD screen with 1080p resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. When docked, it can output up to 4K resolution at 60Hz. The system uses a custom Nvidia Tegra T239 processor and 12GB of LPDDR5X memory. It also supports Nvidia's DLSS technology and ray tracing. The Switch 2 can be used as a handheld, a tablet, or connected to an external display.
