RayNeo Unveils Batman-Themed AR Glasses
Augmented reality company RayNeo unveiled a special Batman Edition of its latest RayNeo Air 4 Pro smart glasses at MWC 2026. The new AR wearables, which became available for purchase on February 27, signal a growing trend of tech companies using major entertainment franchises for product marketing.
The special edition glasses are available in two variations: a "Justice" edition for Batman and a "Chaos" edition themed after the Joker. The Batman version includes a logo on the frame and a case, along with a facemask designed to resemble the iconic cowl, which also serves to block out light for a more immersive experience. Priced at $319, the Batman Edition costs slightly more than the standard RayNeo Air 4 Pro, which has a regular price of $299. For early buyers, promotional pricing may offer a discount of up to $50. The glasses feature dual 0.6-inch Micro-OLED displays that project a virtual screen size of up to 201 inches. They are the first AR glasses to support HDR10, offering a peak brightness of 1,200 nits and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Audio is a key feature, with four speakers tuned by Bang & Olufsen to create an immersive sound experience. The glasses also include "sound tubes," small silicone attachments designed to direct audio more effectively towards the user's ears, minimizing sound leakage. Weighing just 76 grams, the Air 4 Pro is designed for comfort during extended use and is compatible with devices that support DisplayPort over USB-C. While primarily aimed at entertainment like watching movies and gaming, their productivity support is currently limited to native MacOS and Windows. RayNeo has been actively forming strategic partnerships, including a global licensing agreement with Bang & Olufsen for audio technology in its AR glasses. The company also partnered with Ant Group to develop AR payment solutions. According to Counterpoint Research, RayNeo held the largest share of the global AR glasses market in the third quarter of 2025.
