This project is a partnership with the family of Jerry Garcia, aiming to create a space that reflects his artistic passions, from his Spanish roots to his connections to jazz and Americana. - Garcia's Chicago is located at 1001 W Washington Blvd, at the corner of Washington Boulevard and Morgan Street in the West Loop. It's an intimate venue with a capacity of approximately 300-350 people, designed with a blend of California mid-century modern and subtle psychedelic flair. - The food and beverage program is managed by Lowder-Tascarella Hospitality, a group with a portfolio that includes work with high-end brands like Aman Resorts, Bulgari Hotels, and The Ritz-Carlton. The menu, described as "Spain meets San Francisco," is led by Executive Chef and Chicago native Ivy Carthen. - The beverage program, curated by award-winning mixologist Chris Lowder's team, features a mix of craft cocktails and premium wine and beer selections. - The venue is equipped with a state-of-the-art Meyer Sound system for superior acoustics, along with full multitracking and 4K live-streaming capabilities to capture performances. - Garcia's Chicago joins a dynamic and competitive dining scene in the West Loop, which has recently seen openings such as La Serre, a French bistro; Brasero, specializing in wood-fired South American cuisine; and Bonyeon, which offers contemporary Korean dishes.
