Hong Kong Film Fest Celebrates 50th

The festival will showcase a diverse selection of films, including Philip Yung’s "Cyclone" as another opening film. "Cyclone" tells the story of a young woman who becomes entangled with a triad leader, set against the backdrop of 1970s Hong Kong. The Hong Kong International Film Festival will run from March 27 to April 6. This year's festival includes world premieres, restored classics, and tributes to filmmakers. The festival will also feature a focus on Southeast Asian cinema. Panels and Q&A sessions with filmmakers and actors are also planned.
