NVIDIA added the tactical shooter OPERATOR to GeForce NOW on May 13, extending the Steam game to the company’s cloud gaming service, according to NVIDIA’s weekly GeForce NOW updates page. The move lets subscribers stream the game from NVIDIA’s servers rather than run it locally, using the company’s apps and browser-based service across supported devices. OPERATOR’s Steam page lists the game in Early Access and prices it at $19.99. NVIDIA’s GeForce NOW catalog page says the service now supports more than 5,500 games. ### Where did NVIDIA say OPERATOR was added? NVIDIA’s GeForce NOW “new this week” pages are the company’s regular channel for announcing additions to the cloud library, and the service says new games are added every GFN Thursday. NVIDIA’s supported-games catalog also presents GeForce NOW as a service that streams titles users already own through linked PC game stores. May 13 is the date cited in the card material for the update post and social post. NVIDIA’s broader May 2026 GeForce NOW blog, published April 30, said 16 games were due to join the service during the month and described GeForce NOW’s push to let members stream their PC libraries across devices. ### What exactly is OPERATOR? Steam describes OPERATOR as a tactical shooter in which players take the role of an elite Tier 1 operator in clandestine missions around the world. (nvidia.com) The store page says the game emphasizes a “strategic, measured, and unforgiving” style and is currently sold through Steam Early Access. The Steam listing says the current Early Access version includes multiplayer co-op with adjustable lobby settings and that the developers expect Early Access to last three to five years. (blogs.nvidia.com) The page also says the Early Access price is $19.99 and that final pricing has not yet been determined. ### How do GeForce NOW users actually play it? NVIDIA says GeForce NOW works by connecting a user’s existing PC game-store libraries, including Steam, and then streaming supported titles from the cloud. (store.steampowered.com) The company says synced games appear in the “My Library” section of the GeForce NOW app after an account is linked. NVIDIA’s support page says Steam users can link accounts through GeForce NOW settings, and newly purchased or redeemed games may require a resync before they appear. (store.steampowered.com) The same support note says free-to-play or demo games that have never been played before may need to be added manually by using the “Mark as Owned” option. (nvidia.com) NVIDIA’s launch instructions say that once a game is installed on the virtual GeForce NOW gaming PC, users launch it from the GeForce NOW app on PC, Mac or SHIELD. NVIDIA also offers browser-based access on some platforms, including iPhone and iPad through Safari, according to its support pages. ### On what devices and in which regions is the service available? (nvidia.custhelp.com) NVIDIA says GeForce NOW is designed to stream PC games on “any device,” including through PC and Mac apps and web access. Its support pages also list supported locations across North America, Europe and other markets, including the United States, Canada, Japan and much of Western Europe. NVIDIA’s platform pages say premium members can access more than 2,200 install-to-play titles, while the broader service supports more than 5,500 games. (nvidia.custhelp.com) The company’s May 2026 blog also said GeForce NOW was expanding RTX 5080-class performance across nearly all of the catalog for Ultimate members. ### What should players look for next? NVIDIA says new titles are added every GFN Thursday, and its supported-games catalog is the company’s running record of what can be streamed on the service. (play.geforcenow.com) OPERATOR remains in Steam Early Access, where its developers say the project is expected to continue for three to five years, with future updates and pricing changes still to come.
