Kipchoge's global tour, dubbed "Eliud's Running World," will span two years and aims to inspire communities while uniting the world through running. Each marathon will also raise funds for the Eliud Kipchoge Foundation, supporting education and environmental projects. The Cape Town Marathon on May 24, 2026, marks Kipchoge's first-ever marathon on African soil. He chose Cape Town to celebrate African running and inspire the next generation. Over 27,000 runners are expected to participate. On July 12, 2026, Kipchoge will race in the NB42K Porto Alegre Marathon in Brazil. This marks a return to Brazil, where he won his first Olympic gold in Rio de Janeiro in 2016. Kipchoge sees Porto Alegre as a perfect location, given his strong personal connection to Brazil. The Melbourne Marathon on October 11, 2026, is the third stop. He will be visiting the Formula 1 track and the Australian Tennis Open. The marathon course has been adapted to accommodate over 60,000 people. Kipchoge hopes to complete the seven-stop tour in Antarctica. Other possible stops include Abu Dhabi and Portugal's Algarve coast.
