LA Renames Intersection for Nipsey Hussle

The intersection holds particular significance as it's located in Nipsey's neighborhood.
- The intersection will be officially named "Ermias 'Nipsey Hussle' Asghedom Square". A dedication ceremony for the newly named "Nipsey Hussle Square" is scheduled for Saturday, February 28th. - Shortly before his death, Nipsey Hussle purchased the plaza at this intersection, which is home to his Marathon Clothing store. This location now also houses the Neighborhood Nip Foundation, which continues his community-focused work. - Hussle was a key figure in the development of Destination Crenshaw, a 1.3-mile open-air museum celebrating Black Los Angeles.
