EnduroGP 2026 Season Kicks Off

The EnduroGP season launches this weekend, offering fans the first chance to see the world's top endurance riders compete for early championship points. Expect fierce competition as athletes vie for momentum in what promises to be a highly competitive 2026 campaign.

Red Bull KTM Factory Racing's Josep Garcia enters the 2026 season as the man to beat, having secured back-to-back EnduroGP world titles in 2025. Garcia also clinched the Enduro1 World Championship, cementing his position at the pinnacle of the sport. The biggest off-season shakeup sees 2025 Enduro2 World Champion Andrea Verona move from GASGAS to join his rival Garcia at Red Bull KTM. This creates a powerhouse factory team, with Verona competing in the E2 class and Garcia in E1. The seven-round 2026 championship battle commences in Italy from April 10-12. The calendar features a unique double-header in Fafe, Portugal, before concluding in Wales on August 7-9. In the women's category, RIEJU Factory Team's Rachel Gutish will defend her title after making history in 2025 as the first American to win an FIM Enduro World Championship. Other returning 2025 champions include Hamish Macdonald in E3 and Axel Semb in the Junior category. Several teams have revamped their lineups for 2026. Fantic Factory Racing introduces an all-new squad featuring Theo Espinasse, while the WP Eric Augé Team is fielding a massive 11-rider lineup for the world championship. Rider safety sees new developments this season, with some teams adopting airbag systems for the first time. Additionally, new regulations for 2026 include mandatory stops for riders involved in any on-track collision and updated personal accident insurance coverage for all competitors.
