Waking Daisy Brunch Restaurant Opens in Brookfield

A new brunch restaurant, Waking Daisy, has opened at The Corners of Brookfield. The establishment focuses on scratch-made dishes from locally sourced ingredients and features a full bar. It is located on West Lord Street, situated between FreshFin and Sweetgreen.

- Waking Daisy is the second restaurant at The Corners of Brookfield from owners Nate Arkush and Andrew Foster, who also opened FreshFin at the same location in 2018. - The restaurant occupies a space formerly held by Here Chicky, Chicky, a fried chicken and champagne establishment that closed in 2024. - The interior is designed to seat 98 guests, with an additional 28 seats available on an outdoor patio. - Signature dishes include "Daisy Cakes," which are extra fluffy pancakes, and classic Eggs Benedict, with the menu also offering vegetarian and gluten-free options. - In addition to its dine-in service, the restaurant includes a grab-and-go section with items like breakfast sandwiches and other handhelds. - The restaurant operates daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., with plans to eventually introduce select dinner hours. - The Corners of Brookfield is a 750,000-square-foot development that includes 400,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, along with 244 luxury apartments. - An expansion of the development, called The West End, is expected to begin construction in the first half of 2026 and will add more retail space and 278 apartments.
