Casepoint Taps Veteran as Chief Product Officer

Legal tech company Casepoint has appointed Pete Feinberg as its new Chief Product Officer. Feinberg brings over 20 years of experience in enterprise SaaS and AI to the role, where he will lead the company's unified platform for legal and compliance teams.

Feinberg previously served as Chief Product Officer at Consilio, a prominent legal technology and services provider, where he was responsible for the innovation and product strategy for a wide array of legal tech solutions. His experience includes guiding product strategy and bringing new products to market within the eDiscovery industry. His career in enterprise software spans over 20 years, with 13 of those years focused specifically on legal technology. Before his tenure at Consilio, Feinberg held various product and marketing leadership roles at B2B software and e-retail companies, including Blackboard, a major education technology company. This leadership appointment comes on the heels of a significant merger in January 2025, when Casepoint combined with OPEXUS, a provider of government process management software. The merger was accompanied by a majority investment from the software investment firm Thoma Bravo. The combined company is a major player in data discovery and process management for government and other regulated industries. Casepoint holds high-level security authorizations, including Department of Defense Impact Level 5 and 6 certifications, and serves numerous federal agencies. Feinberg's role will involve advancing the unification of Casepoint's platform across various workflows like legal hold, eDiscovery, and investigations. He will also lead the company's continued investment in AI-assisted features that are designed to be transparent and auditable for legal teams.
