Luka Surpasses 96.6% of NBA Players

Luka Doncic has surpassed 96.6% of all NBA players in career points, highlighting his rapid rise among the league's elite scorers. The milestone underscores how quickly the young Mavericks star has climbed the all-time scoring ranks despite being just in his sixth season.

Dončić reached the 10,000-point mark in just 358 career games, making him the seventh-fastest player in NBA history to hit that milestone. This achievement was part of a 50-point performance against the Phoenix Suns on Christmas Day. He is one of only seven players to score 10,000 points before turning 25. His scoring is not just about volume, but also about massive single-game performances. On January 26, 2024, Dončić scored a career-high 73 points against the Atlanta Hawks. This performance tied him for the fourth-most points ever scored in a single NBA game. Even early in his career, Dončić set a high bar, scoring 42 points in his playoff debut, the most ever for a rookie. He also became the youngest player in postseason history to record a 40-point triple-double. Dončić's scoring prowess isn't limited to just points. He was the first player in NBA history to record a 60-point, 20-rebound triple-double. He also became the first player to combine for 95 points, 20 rebounds, and 20 assists over a two-game span.
