RayNeo Debuts Batman AR Glasses
Augmented reality firm RayNeo has unveiled a special Batman Edition of its new RayNeo Air 4 Pro smart glasses at MWC 2026. The new AR wearables, which became available for purchase on February 27, are part of the company's push into the consumer AR market.
The Batman collaboration includes two distinct models: the "Justice Edition" and the "Chaos Edition," themed after Batman and the Joker, respectively. These limited editions carry an early bird price tag of $269, a step up from the standard version's promotional price of $249. A key feature of the special editions is a detachable, lightweight lens shade styled to look like Batman's mask, which snaps onto the frame. While the external appearance is customized, the internal hardware is identical to the standard Air 4 Pro model. The Air 4 Pro is the first set of AR glasses in the world to feature HDR10 support, designed to offer more vivid colors and deeper contrast. The glasses use dual Micro-OLED displays to project a virtual screen equivalent to 201 inches, with a peak brightness of 1,200 nits and a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals. For audio, RayNeo partnered with Bang & Olufsen to tune the glasses' four-speaker system. Despite the technology packed inside, the glasses maintain a lightweight design, weighing in at just 76 grams. RayNeo, a brand under the TCL umbrella, has established a significant foothold in the augmented reality sector. According to Counterpoint Research, the company held a 24% share of the global AR glasses market in the third quarter of 2025, making it the worldwide leader. The glasses function by mirroring the screen of a connected device via a USB-C cable. They are compatible with a range of devices that support USB-C DisplayPort, including smartphones, PCs, and gaming consoles like the Steam Deck and Nintendo Switch 2.
