TSA PreCheck Touchless ID at 65 airports

The Transportation Security Administration said TSA PreCheck Touchless ID is now available at 65 U.S. airports, expanding a facial-matching option that lets eligible travelers move through identity verification without showing a physical ID at the checkpoint. TSA disclosed the nationwide footprint in a June 24 news release tied to a new Google Wallet opt-in, and its Touchless ID program page lists 65 participating airports. TSA describes the service as a facial comparison process tied to a traveler’s existing passport photo and airline profile. TSA says eligibility starts with three requirements: an active airline profile with a participating airline, current TSA PreCheck membership, and valid passport information uploaded to the airline profile.
