Monsieur Van Pratt Releases New Disco House
Monsieur Van Pratt dropped "DISCOLIFTING 07" on Funkyjaws Music, featuring tracks "Moovin," "Sweet," "If You Feel It," and "The Best In M..." all in the 120–121 BPM groove range. This 12-inch release continues Van Pratt's blend of disco and house aesthetics, now back in stock for DJs and collectors.
Hailing from Mexico City, Monsieur Van Pratt is the founder of the Super Spicy Records label. He has an extensive catalog with over 100 digital releases and more than 30 on vinyl. His sound is deeply rooted in disco, funk, and jazz, and has led to collaborations with notable artists such as Derrick McKenzie, the drummer for Jamiroquai, as well as Art Of Tones and Drop Out Orchestra. Van Pratt's work has also been released on respected labels like The Disco Express and Tropical Disco Records. Funkyjaws Music, the label behind "DISCOLIFTING 07," is curated by Belarusian DJ and producer Sergey Abramov. The label has a consistent focus on disco house, jazz funk, and disco funk. The "Discolifting" series is a recurring collection of disco EPs from Funkyjaws, with previous installments featuring artists like Pete Blaker and Bogdan RA. The series is recognized for its quality within the disco scene.
