The upcoming 57th CIFF Canton, scheduled for March 18-21 and March 28-31, 2026, builds on a legacy of record-breaking attendance. The 2025 event hosted over 4,900 exhibitors and attracted more than 363,825 professional visitors, cementing its role as a critical global platform for the furniture industry. The massive 850,000-square-meter exhibition space is a key indicator of the fair's comprehensive scope. For designers focused on minimalist aesthetics, the 2026 fair is expected to showcase a shift from stark, cold styles to a warmer, "organic minimalism." This trend emphasizes softer, curved silhouettes like bean-shaped sofas and round-edged tables, moving away from sharp, rigid geometric forms. The new approach favors creating calm, uncluttered spaces without feeling sterile, focusing on "quiet texture" to add depth. Sustainable sourcing will be a dominant theme, with a focus on materials that are both eco-friendly and durable.
