Loganair will start direct flights between Jersey and Bordeaux on June 19, adding a new summer link between the Channel Island and southwest France. (loganair.co.uk) The service is scheduled twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays, and will run through October 5. Loganair said one-way fares start at £79.99 from Jersey and €89.99 from Bordeaux. (loganair.co.uk) Bordeaux Airport said the flight time is under two hours. It posted Monday departures from Bordeaux at 12:55 with arrival in Jersey at 13:20 local time, and return departures from Jersey at 09:50 with arrival in Bordeaux at 12:25 local time. (bordeaux.aeroport.fr) The route adds another European option to Jersey’s 2026 summer schedule after Loganair announced new flights from the island to Norwich, East Midlands, Dublin and Paris Charles de Gaulle on February 13. Jersey Airport said the Paris service would be Loganair’s first commercial route to France. (jerseyairport.com) That February plan has already changed. Loganair’s April 10 announcement on Bordeaux listed seasonal Jersey flights to Norwich, East Midlands and Paris Charles de Gaulle, but not Dublin, and the Jersey Evening Post reported the Bordeaux service replaces a planned Jersey-Dublin route announced earlier this year. (loganair.co.uk) (jerseyeveningpost.com) Ports of Jersey chief executive Matt Thomas said the Bordeaux route gives islanders another direct option to southern France and opens Jersey to a catchment of more than 1 million people in Bordeaux and the wider Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. Bordeaux Airport chief executive Simon Dreschel said the service also brings a new airline onto the airport’s network. (loganair.co.uk) Jersey has been pushing to rebuild and widen its transport links as it heads into the summer season. Ports of Jersey said on April 8 that 2026 had opened with rising passenger numbers and new United Kingdom and European routes. (ports.je) Visit Jersey’s arrivals dashboard says its monthly reports track both visitors and returning residents arriving by air and sea, underscoring how closely the island watches route capacity before the main tourism season. (business.jersey.com) For travelers, the immediate change is simple: Jersey gets a nonstop Bordeaux flight for the peak summer window, and Loganair gets a deeper foothold in the island’s 2026 network.
