Real Estate and Building Materials Firms Appoint New Leaders

Several key industry leadership changes have been announced. Building materials manufacturer Carlisle Companies elected homebuilding executive Sheryl D. Palmer to its Board of Directors. Separately, REMAX named Chris Lim as its new president, while real estate platform Offerpad appointed tech executive Tela Gallagher Mathias to its board.

- Sheryl D. Palmer currently serves as the Chairman and CEO of Taylor Morrison Home Corporation, a role she has held since 2007, and has over 35 years of experience in the homebuilding industry. - Palmer's appointment is intended to add significant value to Carlisle's "Vision 2030" initiatives; the company reported $1.1 billion in revenue for the fourth quarter of 2025 and plans up to $1 billion in share repurchases in 2026. - Chris Lim's promotion to President at REMAX comes just one year after he joined the company as Chief Growth Officer, a role he will continue to hold. - Before REMAX, Lim was the president of Christie's International Real Estate and also founded Climb Real Estate, which was later acquired by NRT. - Tela Gallagher Mathias is a 25-year technology veteran with a background in mortgage and housing finance who currently serves as CEO of the generative AI firm Phoenix Burst. - Mathias's appointment to Offerpad's board aligns with the iBuyer's increased focus on artificial intelligence, following the recent creation of a Chief Pricing and Analytics Officer role to oversee AI-driven strategy.
