Lauren Stockley and Charlie Searle have qualified for the 2026 Hyrox World Championships after finishing second in Warsaw on April 18. (ca.sports.yahoo.com) Their runner-up finish came in the women’s pairs race at the final Hyrox major of the 2025-26 season in Poland. Stockley and Searle finished in 52 minutes 58 seconds. (ca.sports.yahoo.com) The result settled a qualification fight that had been left in doubt after the pair raced at the 2026 Europe, Middle East and Africa event in London four weeks earlier. They were later given a 60-second penalty for cutting the corner while exiting the sled-pull section. (ca.sports.yahoo.com) Hyrox is an indoor race built around eight 1-kilometer runs and eight workout stations completed in order. The stations include SkiErg, sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry, sandbag lunges and wall balls. (hyrox.com) Warsaw carried extra weight because Hyrox billed it as the final major of the season and the last chance for top athletes to secure World Championships places. The event ran from April 16 to April 19 at PGE Narodowy. (hyrox.com) The championships themselves are scheduled for June 18 to June 21, 2026, in Stockholm, Sweden. Hyrox says the event will be held at Strawberry Arena and that only the top 0.5% of athletes from the 2025-26 season qualify. (hyrox.com) Stockley told BBC Sport Wales she was “really happy with the performance” after the Warsaw race. She said the pair “knew we had it in us to execute this race” and added: “All eyes on Stockholm now.” (ca.sports.yahoo.com)
